MSH Membership<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Those fulfilling membership criteria as outlined below are eligible to apply. All applications will be subjected to approval by the Society Council.<\/p>\n

All applications must be made through this online application portal (linked here)<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Sign-up to apply.\u00a0 You are required to fill all the requested details including uploading images of supporting documents and referee reports.\u00a0 \u00a0Please read this guide<\/span><\/strong><\/a> first before proceeding.\u00a0 The two referees must be among MSH life members, both of whom must be personally acquainted with the applicant.\u00a0 This portal allows you to complete your application in stages.<\/p>\n

Once your application was determined to be in order, it will be forwarded for council approval by a majority vote.<\/p>\n

The secretariat will notify a new member with a copy of the rules and regulations of the Society.<\/p>\n

Membership Types<\/h4>\n

Criteria:<\/h5>\n
    \n
      <\/ol>\n
    1. Physicians\/Paediatricians\/Pathologists practising in Malaysia who have postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine, Paediatrics or Pathology<\/li>\n
    2. Doctors with postgraduate qualification in the medical sciences.<\/li>\n
    3. Science graduates with a MSC or PhD in haematological science.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Membership fees RM 100.00 per annum<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Citizens\/Permanent Resident of Malaysia and practising in Malaysia fulfilling the criteria as stated for ordinary member is eligible to become life members after paying life membership subscription fees.<\/p>\n

      One-off membership fees RM300<\/strong><\/p>[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=\"Associate Member\" _builder_version=\"4.27.9\" _module_preset=\"default\" global_colors_info=\"{}\" open=\"on\"]

      Criteria:<\/h5>\n

      <\/p>\n

          <\/ol>\n
        1. Medical graduates (non-specialist) who are undergoing training programmes in Haematology; i.e MPath (Hematology) <\/li>\n
        2. Medical practitioners (non-specialist) who have an interest in Haematology<\/li>\n
        3. Scientific officers (without MSc degrees) and Medical Laboratory Technologists who are trained in Haematology<\/li>\n
        4. Non-citizens of Malaysia who fulfils criteria for ordinary\/associate member is eligible to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Membership fees RM 50.00 per annum<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Term Members is similar to Associate Members but prefers to pay upfront a subscription for a duration of ten years instead of annual subscription renewal.<\/p>\n

          Membership Fees Payment<\/h3>\n

           <\/p>\n

          Once your membership application has been reviewed and approved by the <\/span>MSH Council<\/span><\/strong>, you will receive an email informing you of the outcome.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Please proceed with payment only after you have received confirmation that your application has been approved.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

          A one-time <\/span>entrance\/processing fee of RM21.00<\/span><\/strong> applies to all successful new membership applications, in addition to the applicable membership subscription fee.<\/span><\/p>\n

          For membership categories requiring an annual subscription, including <\/span>Ordinary and Associate Membership, membership is valid until <\/span>31 December of the year in which the subscription is paid<\/span><\/strong>, irrespective of the date of admission. The applicable annual subscription fee must subsequently be paid for each calendar year.<\/span><\/p>\n

          For example, a new <\/span>Ordinary Member<\/span><\/strong> will pay:<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n

          First year:<\/span><\/strong> RM100 annual subscription + RM21 entrance\/processing fee = <\/span>RM121<\/span><\/strong>
          Subsequent years:<\/span><\/strong> <\/span>RM100 per annum <\/span><\/strong>applicable from 1st January<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

          Online Payment<\/span><\/h4>\n

          Payment may be made online after you have received instructions from MSH to proceed. When completing the online payment form, please use the <\/span>same name, email address and telephone number<\/span><\/strong> provided in your MSH membership application. This will allow your payment to be correctly matched to your application.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Payment by Cheque<\/span><\/h4>\n

          If paying by cheque, the cheque should be crossed <\/span>\u201cA\/C Payee Only\u201d<\/span><\/strong> and made payable to: <\/span>Malaysian Society of Haematology<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

          An additional <\/span>RM0.50<\/span><\/strong> should be included for outstation cheques.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Fees Renewal<\/h3>\n

          Ordinary and Associate Members<\/span><\/strong> are required to pay an annual subscription. The subscription is due on <\/span>1 January of each calendar year<\/span><\/strong> and must be paid within <\/span>three months<\/span><\/strong> of that date.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Term Associate Membership<\/span><\/strong> is valid for ten years.
