The objective of this workshop is to help participants to prepare high quality articles for publication in medical journals. You will be taught on how to write the various types of scientific paper and how the manuscript is processed; the role of the editors and reviewers and what they look for and how to respond to their comments. In addition, there will be practical individual/group exercises on preparation of various types of manuscript. Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to master manuscript preparation and improve their chances of article acceptance by editorial boards
There will be a Morphology Workshop organised by Dr. Jameela on 14th and 15th November 2008.

University Malaya Medical Centre and The Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya have great pleasure in inviting you to participate in our annual Course in Transfusion Medicine. The course is currently in its fourth year, and for this year, we will be
revisiting some basic aspects of transfusion medicine. This short intensive four-day course has been designed to train doctors, technical staff and postgraduate haematology students in transfusion medicine. The course will consist of lectures scheduled in the mornings and workshops in the afternoon. The workshop sessions will consist of dry practicals and case studies. At the end of the course, participants are expected to have improved their theoretical knowledge in transfusion medicine and their interpretative skills and ability to apply these new skills to practical situations.
